The Shri Mahalakshmi (Amba Mata) Temple of Nishane of Dharangaon Tahsil in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, India, is another residence of Goddess Shri Mahalakshmi for the peoples of North West Maharashtra (Khandesh). Shree Mahalakshmi Mata is worshipped as the Family Deity (Kuldaivat), not only in Maharashtra, but in innumerable families of India.

This goddess is family deity of majority peoples living in this area. It is believed that the Goddess herself has come down in this form to stay here at Nishane.
